I have a lot of things that I greatly enjoy. Making "Pretties" for eBay with all the gorgeous new rosy fabrics, painting on various objects from Christmas Ornaments to a piece of Shabby furniture. My husband and I both love antique shopping and going to a good flea market. He heads for the manly items and I head for the linens, china and furniture. Gardening is a peaceful pursuit for me and when all the plants are flowering it is so satisfying!!

My family is precious to me, beyond words. I have five beautiful and adored children and fourteen beautiful and adored grandchildren. We are a blended family of nine children and twenty-four grandchildren between us. I came to Tom with one girl and three boys and he came with four girls. His youngest is the age of my oldest and we have one beautiful girl together.

We consider home to be Arizona and dream of getting back there. A yearly trip has to suffice for now, but when I see that first mountain come over the horizon I know I am home! Living in Michigan has given us rain and thunderstorms that we both love and we enjoy sitting on the porch and enjoying them. The snow not so much!!! Being close to the water, we take long walks along the boardwalk and watch for the huge freighters coming up the St. Clair River.
