My name is Cindy of myrosecottagedream, and thanks for visiting my page at The Cottage Connection Club. I'm thrilled to be a member of this group of lovely and talented women.

I have been selling on eBay for 3½ years and I just love designing and creating unique, one-of-a-kind, tote purses, pillows, Christmas stockings, Christmas ornaments and painted treasures. Most of my items are made from a combination of vintage and not-so-vintage pieces of fabrics, trims and trinkets that I've gathered along the way.

I have been crafting and sewing since very young – I started out sewing or rather trying to sew Barbie clothes when I was about 7 or 8 years old but really started sewing when I was at age 12 in home economics class. My sister, who is also very creative and talented, taught me how to embroider and my mom taught me to knit when I was quite young. And so it began!

When I'm out scouting for and find the perfect piece of vintage fabric, the creative process begins. I can quickly surmise what will become of that piece of fabric before I'm even out of the store. Now add a find of a vintage buttons or trim and look out! My items are created on my wonderful sewing table that my dad fashioned for me years ago, in my cozy little sewing room amidst the piles of fabrics and beads and ribbons collected along the way.
